Disclosed are a device and a method for monitoring the corrosion of a wind power generator tower. The device for monitoring corrosion on the surface of a wind power generator tower comprises a current applying part to apply current to one electrode among electrodes at the top of a tower and to one electrode among electrodes at the bottom of the tower; a resistance measurement part to measure a resistance value corresponding to a voltage drop caused by a current applied to a space between the selected electrodes; and a corrosion determination part to determine corrosion on the surface of the wind power generator tower by comparing a reference resistance value according to the shortest path between the electrodes with the resistance value measured in the resistance measurement part.
