The present invention relates to a power-saving air conditioner capable of rapidly supplying cold air using condensate water, wherein the power-saving air conditioner comprises: a case of which one side has a heat radiation housing space and a heat radiation outlet, and the other side has a cooling housing storage and a cooling outlet; a compressor arranged in the heat radiation housing space of the case, and forming a high-pressure and high-temperature refrigerant by compressing a gas; a condensation-heat radiation part arranged in the heat radiation housing space of the case and cooling the high-pressure and high-temperature refrigerant which is compressed; a high-temperature water tank mounted between the compressor and the condensation-heat radiation part; an expansion cooling part arranged between the case and the cooling housing space, and discharging the cold air indoors after rapidly cooling the refrigerant by evaporating the refrigerant transferred from the condensation-heat radiation part; a liquid receiver mounted between the compressor and the condensation-heat radiation part, and temporarily storing the high-pressure and high-temperature refrigerant; a condensate water spray evaporator arranged at the intermediate portion of the housing spaces, and dropping the temperature of the refrigerant in the condensation-heat radiation part and the temperature of air in the cooling housing space by spraying and evaporating the condensate water after collecting the condensate water generated in the expansion cooling part; and a refrigerant heat exchanger mounted between the condensation-heat radiation part and the expansion cooling part, and dropping the temperature of the refrigerant, which is transferred from the condensation-heat radiation part to the expansion cooling part, through the heat exchange of the refrigerant recovered from the expansion cooling part to the compressor. According to the present invention, a low-temperature condensate water generated when an expansion cooling part is operated is used so that cold air can be rapidly supplied, power consumption can be reduced, and an extra component and pipe for removing the condensate water are not required to be installed. |
