PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device which can appropriately protect a remote side occupant by an expanded air bag.SOLUTION: An air bag device is mounted on a vehicle in which a plurality of seats are arranged in parallel. An air bag in a seat frame within a backrest part of a remote side seat comprises: a bag body 17 which is attached to an impact force action side surface 4a of a longitudinal frame part 4 positioned at a side surface side of an impact force action side LW; and a tether 23. A support member 26 includes an end surface support part 28 which is extended from the longitudinal frame part 4 to the impact force action side LW to support a base part side end surface 18a of the bag body 17 at the time when expansion of the air bag is completed. The tether 23 is arranged in a remote side surface side of the bag body 17 when the expansion is completed, one end 23a of the tether is connected to a tip 20a of the bag body 17 when the expansion is completed, and the other end 23b is connected to a remote side surface 4b of the longitudinal frame part 4 so that the tip 20a is prevented from moving to the impact force action side LW. |
