<p>Apparatus and methods of wireless communication include configuring a closed loop transmit diversity (CLTD) operation between a User Equipment (UE) and an access node, detecting a condition of an uplink from the UE to the access node, and disabling CLTD operation by the UE based upon the condition. Optionally, the apparatus and methods may further include detecting that the condition of the uplink has ended, and in response enabling the CLTD operation.</p> |
