PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for repairing a display device, which can repair a pixel having a defect not confirmable by an optical microscope to a normal pixel, and a method thereof.SOLUTION: The device for repairing a display device may include: a stage where a display device is mounted; a lighting device which applies a lighting signal to the display device; and a detector which is disposed at a distance from the display device and detects a photon or heat generated from a defect part in a pixel of the display device due to the lighting signal. An optical microscopic, the detector, and a laser repairing device are all provided in a light blocking box to recognize an accurate position of the defect part in a pixel, and the pixel can be repaired to a normal pixel using the laser repairing device, whereby the yield can be improved. |
