PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handle assembly of a medical device including a module type expansion allowing addition of a number of connector ports to an existing handle.SOLUTION: An expansion may include a main body part coupled to a shaft 14 of a slender medical device at least one of an electric wire and a fluid lumen. The main body part may include a handle port for providing connection to one or more of a fluid connector 134 fluidly coupled to the fluid lumen and an electromechanical connector 22 electrically coupled to the electric wire. A handle assembly 12 may further include a handle expansion part 130 coupled to the handle port. |
