A display device for outputting a stereoscopic image is disclosed. The display device comprises: an image input unit for receiving a left-eye image frame and a right-eye image frame; an image processing unit which generates a left-eye image interpolated frame by using the region-specific gradation difference between the left-eye image frame and the previous frame of the left-eye image frame, and generates a right-eye image interpolated frame by using the region-specific gradation difference between the right-eye image frame and the previous frame of the right-eye image frame; a display unit; and a control unit which controls the display unit to sequentially display the left-eye image interpolated frame, the left-eye image frame, the right-eye image interpolated frame, and the right-eye image frame in a predetermined order.
