<p>The present invention relates to a mobile device and a method of controlling the same. In more particular, the present invention relates to a mobile device capable providing shortcut in the form of tactile feedback corresponding a touch input of a user and a method of controlling the same. To this end, the present invention includes the steps of displaying an user interface including at least one item, receiving a first touch input to select the item, providing a virtual image to a first region corresponding to the selected item, the first touch input being to select a shortcut interface, the shortcut interface providing a shortcut for the selected item, receiving a second touch input in which the virtual image is moved from the first region to the second region, the virtual image being displayed in such a manner that an image corresponding to the selected item is distinguished from a peripheral graphic image, and setting a shortcut interface corresponding to the selected item in the second region. The shortcut interface is invisible, so that the tactile feedback corresponding to a third touch input is provided.
