PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of components of an object detection device.SOLUTION: An object detection device 1 includes a plurality of light emission units 2, a plurality of light incident units 3, a light reception-side light guide 4, and a photodetector 5. The light emission units 2 emit light beams different by wavelengths. The light incident units 3 are arranged in positions spaced from and facing corresponding light emission units 2 respectively. The light incident units 3 form an entrance of the light reception-side light guide 4. The light reception-side light guide 4 guides light beams impinging on the light incident units 3, to a common light receiving portion Z. The photodetector 5 is arranged in the light receiving portion Z. The photodetector 5 has a function of outputting, in response to reception of light having a wavelength of light emitted from each light emission unit 2, a current corresponding to the intensity and wavelength of the light. |
