PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer film that prevents a print failure of appearance from standing out, even if there are variations of magnitude in the overlapping of both edges of the film, without the occurrence of malfunction, wherein the starting and trailing edges of the film are overlapped when winding the transfer film on the surface of a cylindrical component such as a writing instrument and decorating it, and when the overlapping of a colored layer is large, the portion is deeply colored to deteriorate an outward appearance, and when the colored layer is not overlapped and separated, a malfunction occurs such that a white color or metallic luster-colored concealed layer is visually recognized or the surface of a decorated component is exposed.SOLUTION: A transfer film 1 is configured by sequentially laminating a releasing layer 5, a colored layer 4, a concealed layer 3 and an adhesive layer 2 on a base sheet 6. The concealed layer 3 is colored by a coloring agent of the same color or an approximate color as the colored layer 4. A gradation printing part that becomes a pale color as going to the tip end is provided at both ends of the colored layer 4. A component for a writing instrument decorated with the transfer film 1 is also provided. |
