PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device for performing photographing for obtaining a wide dynamic range image in which overexposure and underexposure are suppressed.SOLUTION: The imaging device includes an imaging element 110 in which many pixels for generating a photoelectric conversion signal corresponding to an exposure amount are arranged, an imaging control part (a CPU 121 or the like) for performing photographing on the basis of a first exposure amount and a second exposure amount smaller than the first exposure amount, an A/D conversion control part (an A/D converter 203, the CPU 121, or the like) for performing only A/D conversion of a pixel signal of a preset first level or below when performing photographing on the basis of the first exposure amount, and performing only A/D conversion of a pixel signal of a preset second level or more when performing photographing on the basis of the second exposure amount, and an image processing part 114 for compositing image data of a wide dynamic range on the basis of the image data obtained by the photographing. |
