PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately determine various types of touches depending on situations to further improve convenience.SOLUTION: A portable terminal device 100 includes an electrostatic touch panel 110, a resistance film touch panel 130, a memory 170, and a processor 190 connected with the memory 170. The processor 190 acquires touch coordinates detected by at least one of the electrostatic panel 110 and the resistance film touch panel 130, and determines the type of a touch including the presence of a touch with a pressure equal to or stronger than a predetermined pressure on the basis of the acquired touch coordinates. The processor 190, when the strong touch is determined to be a certain type of touch and the touch coordinates are detected by both the electrostatic touch panel 110 and the resistance film touch panel 130, specifies touch coordinates where the strong touch has been made. |
