PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize time required for receiving and running data application by receiving only the minimum data required for running data application and receiving other data in a pull method when necessary.SOLUTION: The method for running the digital broadcasting data application includes the steps of: (a) receiving metadata which corresponds to data application and has information indicating a receive position of the data application or running condition of the data application, with a receiver; (b) analyzing the metadata and extracting information required for running the data application with the receiver; (c) receiving the data application on the basis of the extracted information with the receiver; and (d) running and providing the data application with the receiver. |
