PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base plate for chair capable of providing a user with sitting comfort over a long period of time by bending, in a favorable mode, parts to which body pressure of a seating person is applied.SOLUTION: The base plate for chair used for a seat and a backrest of a chair includes a plurality of flexible, easily-deformable parts 18 with corrugated cross section aligned horizontally on the base plate (a seat plate) 13 formed of an elastically deformable synthetic resin, at parts to which the body pressure of a seating person is applied, the easily-deformable parts facing a direction crossing with the horizontal direction and bending to protrude upward an upper face and downward a lower face of the base plate 13. |
