In the process, sheet-metal plates are expanded by means of a pressurised medium to form flow channels. These are filled after mounting with an anti-corrosion, frost-protected heat carrier liquid. In order to protect the absorber against corrosion during storage, a corrosion-inhibiting, frost-protected heat carrier liquid is used as the medium for expanding the interspaces. <IMAGE>
