PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress image quality deterioration due to erroneous detection of a defective pixel in real time defective pixel detection in a light field camera.SOLUTION: There is provided an image processing device for processing a captured image output from an imaging device where a micro lens array for obtaining the captured image including a light ray angle information of a subject which is image-formed in a photographing optical system is arranged. The mage processing device includes: refocusing processing means for refocusing the obtained captured image based on the light ray angle information and generating a reconstitution image; and defective pixel detection means for detecting a defective pixel from the obtained captured image. When the captured image is obtained, the defective pixel of the obtained captured image is detected. When an instruction of refocusing processing is given, the refocusing processing is performed on the captured image where the defective pixel has been detected.
