PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drier which has excellent contacting efficiency between a dried object and steam and does not require a high temperature heat source.SOLUTION: A drier which dries a dried object with heating gas comprises: a drying room 20 which has a shaft hole at an upper section thereof; a plurality of conveying surfaces 21 which are installed in the drying room and have openings and the shaft holes; a plurality of drive shafts 25 which penetrate the shaft holes; rakes 22 which are installed around the plurality of drive shafts, convey the dried object from one edge side of the conveying surface to the other edge side of the same by turning, and drop the dried object to the conveying surface on a lower level through the openings; a drive section 80 which is installed at an upper section of the drying room and rotates the drive shafts; and a fixing shaft which is installed on the lowermost conveying surface in the drying room. The drying room has an inflow port of the heating gas arranged on a middle level of the drying room and discharge ports, which discharge gas with reduced temperature after passing inside the drying room, arranged on an upper level and a lower level of the drying room. |
