PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: triphenylamine derivatives having excellent solubility in solvents and low ionization potential, effectively contributing improvement in sensitivity characteristics of a hole transport agent of an electrophotographic photoreceptor; a method for manufacturing the same; and an electrophotographic photoreceptor.SOLUTION: The triphenylamine derivatives are represented by the specified general formula (1).
