The apparatus (10) has a detection device (20) detecting velocity of driving guidance maneuvers of a rider. A tiredness alarm is releasable over a threshold level comparator (30). The threshold level comparator compares output of the detection device with threshold output depending upon a predetermined driving profile. The driving profile is more selectable by the rider, and assignable by routing and speed of the vehicle. The driving profile differentiates between a sport profile and a comfort profile. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for detecting tiredness of a driver of a vehicle (2) a computer program including a set of instructions to perform a method for detecting tiredness of a driver of a vehicle.
