Provided are a user equipment tracking method and system, an access device and an access controller. The method includes: an access device sending a query request message to an access controller, the query request message comprising the user equipment identifier, so that the access controller queries a tracking task list according to the user equipment identifier, determining that the tracking task list comprises the user equipment identifier, and sending a query response message to the access device, the query response message containing a tracking identifier and/or the user equipment identifier; and the access device receiving the query response message sent by the access controller, and if it is determined that the query response message contains the tracking identifier, performing a signalling tracking operation on the user equipment. The problem that the existing user equipment tracking method has low efficiency for tracking a user signalling terminated at an AP can be solved. |
