PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method for forming a polarizing plate comprising a polarizing film laminated with a transparent film, by which the polarizing film can be stably conveyed, even when conveyance conditions of one of the films are adjusted, the other film is hardly influenced by the conditions, foams or wrinkles are substantially prevented and high production stability is achieved.SOLUTION: The production method includes: an adhesive application step of applying an active energy ray-curable adhesive on at least one surface of transparent films 2, 3 or of a polarizing film 1; a bonding step of nipping and pressing a laminate 4 prepared by laminating the transparent films 2, 3 with the polarizing film 1 via the adhesive between a pair of bonding rolls 51, 52 to bond the transparent films 2, 3 with the polarizing film 1; and an active energy ray irradiation step of irradiating the laminate 4 with active energy rays to cure the adhesive. In the bonding step, the polarizing film 1 conveyed in a substantially vertical direction is laminated with transparent films 2, 3 conveyed from at least one surface side of the polarizing film to form the laminate. |
