PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiberboard having high strength.SOLUTION: A method for producing the fiberboard, the adjacent vegetable fibers of whose fiber mat are stuck to each other by a water-soluble thermosetting resin, comprises the steps of: impregnating the fiber mat with the water-soluble thermosetting resin; after drying the fiber mat applying moisture to the fiber mat by a spray coating method; and subjecting the moisture-applied fiber mat to hot press molding. |
