PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge device capable of being made small in size and simplified by saving of power of a drive source without restricting operation of the drive source.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge device comprises: a rotational drive motor 206 used as a drive source driving a plurality of liquid feed pumps; a drive switching mechanism and a rotational-direction switching mechanism selecting one of the liquid feeding pumps during a rotation in a first direction by the drive source 206; and a drive-force transmission mechanism transmitting a rotational drive force by the selected liquid feeding pump during a rotation in a second direction by the rotational drive motor 206. First and second clutches 500 and 501 capable of independently transmitting the rotations in the first and second directions by the drive source to the drive switching mechanism and rotational-direction switching mechanism and the drive-force transmission mechanism are arranged in a drive-force transmission path from the rotational drive motor 206 to the drive switching mechanism and rotational-direction switching mechanism, and a drive-force transmission path from the rotational drive motor 206 to the drive-force transmission mechanism, respectively. |
