PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To irradiate photocatalyst formed at storage shelves in a storage room to deodorize food products and at the same time to perform a visibility function for food products with light-emitting diode light.SOLUTION: This refrigerator includes storage shelves 14a to 14d of a storage room, photocatalyst 13a to 13d formed below the storage shelves, triangle pole salients 11, 12 having inclined planes formed at the side faces of the storage room and light-emitting diodes 11a to 11d, 12a to 12d installed at the triangle pole salients 11, 12, in which the triangle pole salients 11, 12 are formed at an aperture face 10k side when a door of the storage room is opened, rather than at near side extremity ends (a) to (d) of a plurality of storage shelves 14a to 14d, the triangle pole salients 11, 12 are formed at the right and left side faces of the storage room so as to cause direct irradiation light from the light-emitting diodes to be irradiated more to the depth side of the storage room rather than the aperture face 10k when the door is opened, the irradiation light from the light-emitting diodes irradiate against the stored food products to enable them to be visible and activate the photocatalyst to perform deodorization function. |
