A garment 10 includes a covering member 12 for covering at least a part of a wearer's trunk 18. The covering member defines a first, operatively upper end 14 and a second, operatively lower end 16. An elongate, inelastic manipulating element 22 extends, in use, between the first end 26 and the second end 28 of the covering member 12.
