An improved lipstick casing comprises a plurality of slightly raised elastic flange plates 12 that are equally spaced around a top circumferential surface of a rotary base 10. An intermediate tube 21, comprising a metal tube 21 and a plastic sleeve 22 having spiral guide slots 23 formed therein, is situated outside an inner tube 13, having slide channels 15. A holder 16 for receiving the lipstick slides up and down when the base is rotated by means of pegs 17 which locate in the slide channels 15 and the spiral guide slots 23. The bottom of the plastic sleeve 22, rests on the raised flanges 12, so that when the base 10 is rotated to raise or lower the lipstick, steady rotation control is provided, with no shaking. |
