The saddle 10 is proportioned so as to span the ironing surface 16 of an ironing board 12. At least one trough 18 is attached to the saddle and proportioned so as to be able to support one or more items placed within it. The saddle comprises at least one flexible sheet 15 of material with the material being, in use, in contact with the ironing board. The sheet may be made of fabric, plastics, cotton or polycotton. The trough/s may include tunnels 40 for elongate rigid bars 44, 45 to be inserted. An ironing board includes the aforementioned saddle. |
