摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device which features increased efficiency of light extraction, and is designed to prevent change in quality or deterioration of a reflection layer and a reduction in reflective index.SOLUTION: A light-emitting device 1002 comprises: a silver reflection layer 2, formed on an LTCC substrate 10, which reflects the outgoing beam of light from an LED chip 4; and a glass layer 3, covering the silver reflection layer 2, which transmits the reflected light of the silver reflection layer 2. Since the outgoing light from the LED chip 4 to the LTCC substrate 10 side is reflected by the silver reflection layer 2, a loss of the outgoing light can be reduced, allowing for the effective utilization thereof, and the emitted amount of light of the light-emitting device can be heightened. Furthermore, since the silver reflection layer 2 is covered with the glass layer 3, change in quality or deterioration of the silver reflection layer 2 and further a resultant reduction in its reflective index can be restrained. Also, wiring patterns 9 are formed on the LTCC substrate 10 or the glass layer 3 parallel to and apart from each other, and the LED chip 4 is disposed in plurality between the wiring patterns 9, the wiring patterns 9 and the LED chips 4 being connected by bonding wire W.
