<p>The method having emitting a light signal (6) particularly laser light onto a target object and detecting the light signal scattered back by the target object. The lower dynamic range (EDM) lies below the saturation unit of a scanning unit for a signal scanning und the upper dynamic range (EDM) lies above the saturation limit. The upper dynamic range is recorded by threshold value method (SWM) and the lower dynamic range is recorded by signal scanning for the identification and temporal positioning of the back-scattered light signal.</p> |
