PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an event determination device for determining a normal event only by an event log without requiring determination by a system manager or addition of any information from the outside. SOLUTION: The event determination device is provided with: an event range extraction part 1 for creating an event type table 50 that is a list of events generated within a predetermined period from an event log for a predetermined period; and a normal event extraction part 2 for acquiring logs in the event logs tracing back to the past by using the latest date and time within the predetermined period as a start point till all the events in the event type table 50 are acquired, and for setting the event in the event type table 50 corresponding to the log obtained before all the events in the event type table 50 have been acquired.
