<p>The strip (32) has an axial extending wedge-shaped groove formed by two planar regions (34, 36) that are bent at a right angle to each other. The wedge-shaped groove axially and rearwardly extends in an extension of a bisector (38) of the two planar regions. A deepening flat portion and a recess (40) are provided relative to an actual roundish cross-section of the strip. Flattened regions are provided on two sides of the flat portion and the recess and extend parallel to the planar regions. The strip is made of an insulating material i.e. glass fiber laminated fabric. An independent claim is also included for a transformer.</p> |
