The invention relates to a roof water collection device for mounting at a position intermediate the roof apex and a roof skirt or gutter. The device comprises flashing 4 leading to a perforated collecting plate 2 above an elongate trough, and a runoff 1 which extends through the roof. The runoff may support the device. The device may replace a section of roof. The trough may act as a reservoir and may be connected end to end with other troughs by means of male and female parts. A later embodiment relates to a system for collecting rainwater, and may comprise a microprocessor to record information such as water level and temperature. The system may also include a filter. |
