A connector for two electrically interconnected valves 5, 27 in a television receiver, particularly a high voltage rectifier and a ballast tube respectively, comprises an assembly which includes a holder 1-3 for the base of the valve 5 and a socket contact 25 for receiving the top cap of the valve 27, the assembly being detachably mounted in an insulating sleeve 7. A disc 9 with ventilation apertures 11 carries the holder 1-3 and has opposed axiallyextending lugs 17 which retain an insulating strip 23 on which the socket 25 is mounted, the strip 23 being locked between shoulders 29 and cam-surfaces 31 on the lugs 17. In mounting the assembly in the sleeve 7, opposed radial lugs (13, Figs. 1 and 3, not shown) are slidably engaged in radial enlargements 15 on the sleeve until they abut projections 19 on the sleeve, the disc 9 then being rotated to lock its lugs (13) behind further projections (21) on the sleeve. The connector is detachably mounted on a metal chassis 43 by the engagement of bolts 49 on the chassis with keyhole-shaped slots (47) in a flange 45 of the sleeve 7.</p> |
