The present invention relates to an electrical precipitator including: a main body which has an inlet formed at one side for introducing outside air and an outlet for discharging the introduced outside air to the outside; a filter part mounted at one side inside the main body to filter some of contaminants contained in the outside air and to remove moisture; a charging part mounted at the rear end of the filter part inside the main body to charge floating particles of the outside air, which passes through the filter part, with electricity; a collecting part which is mounted at the rear end of the charging part inside the main body and has a number of electrode plates for collecting the charged floating particles; and a voltage generating part for applying voltage to the collecting part. The electrode plate includes a first conductor and a second conductor which is higher in conductivity than the first conductor. According to the present invention, the electrode plates are manufactured in such a manner that copper which is higher in conductivity than aluminum is contained in aluminum, so that the electrical precipitator can prevent that manufacturing costs are increased remarkably and noticeably enhance collecting efficiency of the floating particles contained in the outside air. |
