The present invention relates to a method and device for treating food waste generated from each of homes, and more particularly, to a method and device for treating food waste, whereby food waste is changed into sludge through grinding, dehydrating and drying processes, and simultaneously, bad smell generated in the drying process is removed to purify and discharge air. An object of the present invention is to change food waste generated in each of homes, into sludge through grinding and drying processes, and recycle the sludge into an animal feedstuff or a fuel. According to the present invention, food waste generated in each of homes is recycled into an animal feedstuff or a fuel through grinding, dehydrating and drying processes, and a drum type rotation cutting knife includes a plurality of cutting blades arrayed at a uniform interval to briefly grind food waste, thereby saving energy. In addition, the present invention provides a simple structure to improve manufacturing efficiency, and a drying part secondarily grinds sludge by using a rotator and dries the sludge by using a heater through a mixing process to completely dry food waste. Furthermore, according to the present invention, gas generated in a drying process is filtered through a filtering process and is then discharged to thereby prevent bad smell from being generated in a kitchen. |
