A method for manufacturing a dye-sensitized solar cell provided with a working electrode, a counter-electrode installed so as to face the working electrode, and an electrolytic solution charged between the working electrode and the counter-electrode, wherein a step for forming a metal oxide porous layer constituting the working electrode is provided with: a first step for applying a paste containing metal oxide microparticles onto a substrate and forming a coating layer; a second layer for firing the coating layer at a temperature of 250°C to 400°C; a third step for irradiating the coating layer with UV light in an atmosphere containing oxygen; and a fourth step for re-firing the coating layer at a temperature of 250°C to 400°C.
