PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air control device and an air control method which can prevent clogging of cutting chips in a perforation.SOLUTION: An air control device includes an air suction port, a plurality of air discharge ports, and an air control system. The air suction port takes in air. The plurality of air discharge ports discharge the taken-in air. The air control system switches the plurality of air discharge ports to discharge the air from the switched air discharge ports for a preset period of time. An air control method includes the steps of: taking in air; and switching the plurality of air discharge ports to discharge the air from the switched air discharge ports for a preset period of time.
