PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a receiver which can quickly transmit generation of an emergency to households with the receiver while contributing to suppression of sudden power consumption rise in a target region after securing safety.SOLUTION: A receiver (1) includes: a receiving section (10) for receiving an emergency warning signal; and a command transmission section (41) for successively transmitting a start command at a time interval to a plurality of display devices in a home network when the receiving section (10) receives the emergency warning signal.
