PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve reduction in weight of components constituting a step-up circuit.SOLUTION: An inverter device of an air conditioner includes a substrate, a plurality of step-up circuits, and control means. The substrate is attached so that cooling air flows through a lower surface side. The step-up circuits are mounted on the lower surface side of the substrate respectively. The control means switches the number of step-up circuits to be driven according to the magnitude of a load.
