PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an organic EL device and an organic EL device, capable of reducing occurrence of short circuits between sub pixels and leak current, and an electronic device with the organic EL device.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an organic EL device of an embodiment includes the steps of: forming a functional layer including an organic light-emitting layer on an anode provided per sub pixel (step S1); forming a common cathode covering the functional layer over a plurality of sub pixels (step 2); forming a first sealing layer covering the common cathode (step S3); and masking a portion equivalent to a sub pixel in the first sealing layer, implanting an ion into the common cathode via an unmasked first sealing layer, and making resistance of an ion-implanted cathode portion higher (ion implantation step) (step S4). |
