PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of cooling a plurality of cooling objects with one cooling liquid circulation device.SOLUTION: An ink jet recorder 10 includes at least two guide plates being a first guide plate 72 and a second guide plate 82 for conveying paper P, an ink drying processing unit 68 for drying ink discharged onto the surface of the paper P arranged oppositely from the first guide plate 72, and a UV irradiation unit 74 for irradiating the surface of the paper P with light arranged oppositely from the second guide plate 82 to cure the ink. The ink jet recorder also includes one chiller body 101 for cooling the first guide plate being one cooling object by intermittent circulation of a cooling liquid and cooling the second guide plate 82 being the other cooling object by continuous circulation of the cooling liquid. A first channel 104 is provided with a first electromagnetic valve 120, and the cooling liquid is intermittently circulated to the first guide plate 72 by opening/closing the first electromagnetic valve 120. |
