PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To register an attachment file attached to an electronic mail in a file server so that the file is shared by a plurality of users.SOLUTION: When a file is attached to an electronic mail, the attachment file is registered in a file server. At this occasion, a registration destination directory is determined, when a registration destination directory for the file is specified, to the specified directory, and a registration destination directory is determined, when it is not specified, in accordance with a preset rule; the attachment file is registered, and a message ID and registration destination, of the electronic mail are associated with each other. When the electronic mail is a reply mail to another electronic mail, if a storage destination is not specified, it is determined whether a directory associated with a message ID of the reply source mail exists, and if it is determined that such a directory exists, the attachment file is registered in the directory. |
