In the present invention, an air conditioning system includes the following: an indoor heat exchange system for partitioning along a rack column a hot area side of the rack column in which a plurality of racks accommodating heat generators are arranged side by side in the lateral direction, and for forming a cold air buffer area on the outside of the hot area; a supply fan for supplying cold air of the cold air buffer area to a cold area side of the rack column, via an area below a floor of a double floor above which the rack column is disposed; and an outdoor heat exchange system in which a refrigerant circulates to and from the indoor heat exchange system via a piping system. The present invention can provide a low power consumption air conditioning system suitable for air-conditioning a server room. |
