The endoscope cleaning sheath is provided with a linear part, a distal end of which is fixed to the distal-end-side fixing part at a distal-end-side connecting position, and a proximal end of which is fixed to the proximal-end-side fixing part at a proximal-end-side connecting position, the linear part extending along a wire core axis between the distal-end-side connecting position and the proximal-end-side connecting position and having a higher tensile strength than the sheath body in a direction parallel to a longitudinal axis.
