The invention relates to an arrangement for controlling a power source system. The present arrangement for controlling a power source system comprises a number of cell modules (110), which cell modules (110) are functionally connected to parallel and/or series connected power source elements (116) of the power source system, and control means (104) for controlling energy transfer from power source elements (116), which control means (104) comprise real time monitoring means for monitoring energy level in a power source element (116) and means for synchronizing and converting energy provided by a power source element (116), wherein the control means (104) are arranged to obtain the information related to the energy level in a power source element (116) and perform the energy transfer from a power source element (116), if the energy level in the power source element (116) exceeds a threshold value. |
