PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display body having a higher counterfeit preventing effect than a hologram single body, and a method for determining authenticity of the display body.SOLUTION: The display body includes, on one surface of a light-transmitting substrate 10: a structure formation layer 11 having a first region including a fine rugged structure and a second region having a smooth surface; a reflection layer 12 that covers at least the fine rugged structure of the first region; and a fine particle layer 13 on the smooth surface of the second region or inside the surface. The light reflection layer 12 is formed of a metal material or a dielectric material and is configured to develop at least one optical effect of diffraction, interference, scattering and absorption by the fine rugged structure. |
