摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Stirling cycle engine capable of restraining friction inside a cylinder due to misalignment between central shafts of a displacer as well as a piston and the central shaft of the cylinder.SOLUTION: Diameters of rods (61 and 62) are set so as to enable the same to elastically deform in a process of reciprocal movements thereof which drive a displacer 70 and a piston 20. Thus, flexible twists of the rods (61 and 62) due to elastic deformation thereof facilitate smooth reciprocal movements of the displacer 70 and the piston 20 inside the cylinders (10 and 11) even with slight misalignment between central shafts of the displacer 70 as well as the piston 20 and the central shaft of cylinders (10 and 11). As a result, a Stirling cycle engine can effectively restrain an increase in friction by avoiding the displacer 70 and the piston 20 from strongly hitting a portion of the cylinders (10 and 11).
