The apparatus has a cooled inner space (5) that is surrounded with a heat insulating housing (1). A compressor (7), a heating tube (10) and a vaporizer are connected in series with a refrigerant circuit for cooling the interior. The heating tube is provided for heating the condensation-endangered surface area (4) of the housing. The refrigerant circuit is provided with a directional valve (9) that is connected in parallel to the heating tube and by-pass line (11), for directing the refrigerant either through the heating tube or the by-pass line.
