PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wave receiving apparatus and an electric wave chronometer that can more efficiently control power consumption for reception of broadcast waves including time information.SOLUTION: An electric wave receiving apparatus comprises receiver means that has an antenna and receives broadcast waves including time information; reception control means that controls whether or not receiving actions by the receiver means are appropriate; attitude fluctuation measuring means that measures attitude fluctuations of the antenna, and attitude fluctuation determining means that determines whether or not the attitude fluctuation measuring means has measured attitude fluctuations of or beyond a prescribed level. The reception control means, when receiving broadcast waves, does not allow the receiver means to start reception if the attitude fluctuation determining means has determined that attitude fluctuations of or beyond the prescribed level have been measured. |
