PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Stirling cycle engine capable of restraining reduction in mechanical accuracy due to deformation of a component at a high temperature while reducing friction inside a cylinder.SOLUTION: In a Stirling cycle engine, base sections (71 and 21) of a displacer 70 and a piston 20 are made of metal and sliding sections (71, 23 and 24) are made of resin. Thus, the Stirling cycle engine can reduce deformation due to heat in comparison with an engine having the base sections (71 and 21) made of resin and thereby restraining reduction in mechanical accuracy of the displacer 70 and the piston 20 at a high temperature. Also, the resin sliding sections (71, 23 and 24) installed on external surfaces of the base sections (71 and 21) can reduce slide friction inside a cylinder. |
